capsaicin satiets

Although science supports the conclusion that capsaicin satiets, my experience is quite extreme. That is using a drop of concentrated capsaicin sauce (1.5 million scoville units) to curb appetite during a 3 day fast, the following with small low carb meal menus using hot peppers to curb appetite. Between meal very small snacks of nuts again can be supplemented with appetite suppressant as needed.

Note: my experience has been to drop 10 pounds in 3 days which also reduces the size of meal desired after the fast.

Will try this again to get a quick start on weight loss and to drive metabolism into fat burn mode.

CONCLUSION:

In the short term, both oral and gastrointestinal exposure to capsaicin increased satiety and reduced energy and fat intake; the stronger reduction with oral exposure suggests a sensory effect of capsaicin.
